1) Introduction
Looksmaxxing (“Looksmaxxing”, “we”, “us”) is operated by a company registered in Romania and provides tools that analyze photos
and generate appearance-related results, including ratings, recommendations, and AI-assisted photo enhancements.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and your rights and choices.
2) Information We Collect
- Photos and image content you upload: images you choose to upload for rating, analysis, and/or AI photo enhancement.
- AI inputs you provide: selections, settings, instructions, or prompts you submit to generate results.
- Outputs and derived data: ratings, recommendations, measurements or attributes derived from your images,
and edited or enhanced images generated by the app.
- Onboarding / profile information: information such as gender, birth year, and preferences to personalize your experience.
- Usage data: feature usage, interactions, session duration, and diagnostic data like crash logs.
- Device & technical data: device model, operating system, app version, language, and approximate location derived from IP address.
Payment Information: Payments for subscriptions and premium features are processed by our third-party payment
processor, Stripe, Inc.. We do not store or process your full payment card details. Stripe may collect payment
information such as card details, billing address, and transaction data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
Apple App Store Payments: If you use the Looksmaxxing iOS application, payments and subscriptions
are processed by Apple Inc. through the Apple App Store’s in-app purchase system. We do not have access to or store
your payment card details. Apple may collect and process payment and billing information in accordance with its own
Privacy Policy.
3) How We Use Your Information
- Provide the core services: analyze uploaded photos, generate ratings and recommendations, and create AI-enhanced outputs.
- Personalize your experience: tailor recommendations using onboarding information and preferences.
- Maintain and improve the app: monitor performance, fix bugs, and improve reliability.
- Safety and security: detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- Support and communications: respond to requests and send service-related notices.
4) AI Processing (Including Third-Party AI Providers)
Looksmaxxing uses automated processing (AI/ML) to provide photo ratings, analysis, and AI photo enhancement.
Depending on the feature, your content may be processed by our systems and/or by third-party AI providers.
Our current third-party AI providers include OpenAI and Replicate.
What we share: photos you upload, your selected feature preferences (for example, rating type or
onboarding selections), and limited technical/request metadata required to process your AI request.
User permission and controls: where required by law, we request your explicit consent before sending
personal data to third-party AI providers. You can decline this request, and you can later change your choice in
the app via Settings > AI Data Sharing.
How providers use data: only to return results to us. We do not authorize providers to use your photos
for their own model training except where required by law or with your explicit consent.
Providers may retain inputs or outputs for limited periods for abuse prevention, debugging, or legal compliance.
5) How We Share Information
- AI service providers (currently OpenAI and Replicate) to run requested features.
- Service providers for hosting, storage, analytics, crash reporting, and support.
- Legal and safety reasons to comply with law or protect rights and security.
- Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
6) Refund Policy
All purchases made through Looksmaxxing are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- One-time purchases: Due to the immediate delivery of digital content and AI-generated results,
one-time purchases are non-refundable once the service has been rendered.
- Subscriptions: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end
of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
- Apple App Store purchases: Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store are handled by Apple
in accordance with their refund policies. Please contact Apple Support to request a refund.
- Web/Stripe purchases: For purchases made through our website, refund requests may be considered on a
case-by-case basis for technical issues that prevented service delivery. Contact
team@ailooksmaxing.app within 7 days of purchase.
We reserve the right to refuse refund requests that we determine to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of our Terms of Service.
7) Data Retention
- Uploaded photos: retained only for as long as necessary to provide and maintain the requested services,
unless you delete them sooner or request deletion.
- AI outputs: retained as needed to display results and history, unless deleted by you.
- Onboarding/profile data: retained while your account is active and deleted or anonymized after account deletion.
- Logs and diagnostics: retained for limited periods for security and product improvement.
You may request deletion of your data or account at any time by contacting us.
8) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information,
but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
